June is Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History Month. Four weeks when the community is celebrated for its rich history and heritage, its vibrant talents and its champions, past and present. The theme for this year’s GRTHM is What Makes a Home….pertinent in the face of the incoming new Police Act, which comes into force on the 28th June.
Crystal’s Vardo theatre is currently out on tour across the UK, and Moving for Change also funded a number of micro projects, enabling small groups and community ventures to put on their own celebrations and events.
