Team Member of the Month
🌟 Congratulations Tara 🌟
‘Helping others is always my passion, I have enthusiasm and can empathise well with people from all walks of life’
Tara
It’s been a little while since our last feature in November (time has moved quickly), but we’re really pleased to be bringing this back and recognising the work happening across the team.
This month, we’re highlighting Tara.
Tara brings a varied background across community work, social services and health, including work within Communities First, the NHS and in supporting victims of modern slavery and exploitation. Throughout these roles, a consistent thread has been a strong commitment to helping people access support and rebuild stability in their lives.
More recently, Tara has been supporting individuals and families in Powys, particularly through:
- Supporting prison leavers at risk of homelessness following release, helping to reduce the risk of reoffending
- Assisting community members with benefit applications and tribunal processes
- Liaising with local authorities and probation services in relation to housing issues and exclusion zones affecting Traveller sites
This work often takes place in complex and challenging circumstances, but plays a vital role in supporting people at key points of transition.
Tara brings empathy, persistence and a clear commitment to supporting people to navigate services and access the support they need.
Well done, Tara, and thank you for the important work you’re doing.
