We are looking for an Advice Worker

Are you committed to making a positive difference? We are looking for a passionate and skilled Advice Worker to support Gypsies and Travellers in accessing their rights, entitlements, and essential services.

Salary: £29,504 – £32,061

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Location: Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion (hybrid working)

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert advice on welfare benefits, housing, debt, employment and education

Deliver support through drop-in sessions, phone calls and outreach appointments

Advocate for individuals and liaise with external agencies on their behalf

Maintain accurate case records and contribute to policy development

What We’re Looking For

Experience: At least 1 year in advice work (or equivalent)

Knowledge: Welfare benefits, housing rights and social welfare issues

Skills: Strong communication, IT proficiency and case management

Values: A commitment to inclusion, equality and empowerment

Desirable: Awareness of Gypsy and Traveller communities and the ability to communicate in Welsh or a relevant language
